Build the career you want with us
Administration Officer
It’s that simple. When you join us, you’ll find you’ve got the scope you need to take the next step in your career. Because in this role, there’s opportunity to develop your own path, and we’ve got plenty of options to choose from. Plus, our friendly team, recently renovated heritage building office and the possibility of flexible hours are all great reasons why this is the perfect step up.
Someone with your knowledge and experience doesn’t need to be told how to do your job. That’s why when you join us, you’ll have the leeway to set up your own processes and complete tasks in your own way. Providing administration support to two managers and teams, you’ll broaden your experience assisting with reports, contracts and draft replies as well as other general administration tasks. Day-to-day, you’ll step up to the financial responsibilities of processing invoices for payment, monitoring contracts and group spend, and assisting with annual budgeting and audits. You’ll also provide personal administration services and secretarial support including arranging meetings, training and travel.
Don’t worry if you don’t know anything about the building and housing industry, because sector knowledge isn’t a direct requirement of this role. However, there’s plenty of opportunity to learn should you be interested in moving in that direction. You’ll be familiar with weekly and monthly reporting, basic finance tasks and Microsoft Office software, and your experience in a busy workplace environment will mean your time management skills are top-notch. Self-directed and full of initiative, you’ll thrive on the idea of developing this role in the direction you want to go.
